www.nps.gov is where you go to search site listings of lodging, activities, peak seasons, contact information and so on.
Going forward, I'm going to be posting a lot about how to navigate your way through the national park system and hopefully teach you something you may not know!
For example, did you know you could stay in Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii? The Volcano House Hotel has a front-row view of the lava flow. The picture above is from their site and the view is incredible!!! How amazing would that be?!
